A work in progress

Psalm 139:
13 For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
    they would outnumber the grains of sand—
    when I awake, I am still with you.
Two years ago, this process all started.  God wanted me to know how precious I was in His sight.  He doesn’t see me with my scars and my wounds.  He doesn’t see my failures and my disappointments.  What He sees is the perfect creation He created. Most days a big pill to swallow, I’ll easily admit.  My part in all of this was to accept that I am His creation, and made in His image.
When I started accepting His perfect and good will in my life, big changes started happening!  This chapter is packed full of great wisdom and encouragement for me, and for you!  I encourage you to read it…in fact, since, I’m writing this, I will remind myself of this daily.
While I am definitely a work in progress, I can and will encourage you today to believe you are a new creation, a perfect creation in Christ. You can believe you are fearfully and wonderfully made.  I sure think so.  When we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, we will reflect on the outside the beautiful creation we are!
Blessings,
Kay
